The next phytoplankton pigment workshop will be held 30-31 October 2014
DHI phytoplankton pigment workshop is dedicated to bringing together people engaged in analyzing phytoplankton pigments. The following topics will be presented:

HPLC/UHPLC systems and what is important for the analyses

Define the analysis protocol needed and getting the method running

Things to adjust if the HPLC does not separate the expected peaks

Filtration and extraction of samples

Calibration procedures

An example of accreditation: DANAK accreditation at DHI

Distribution of different pigments in different phytoplankton groups
